Anime Expo 2018: Maiden Japan Licenses Ideon, Xabungle, Votoms & More!

Yesterday, Section23’s Maiden Japan announced it acquired the licenses for eight anime series. Out of the eight titles, three are classic Mecha anime series produced at Sunrise with two series being directed by Yoshiyuki Tomino.   Maiden Japan licensed these series: Space Runawy Ideon, was Yoshiyuki Tomino’s first project following the release of Mobile Suit Gundam. Overlord III Previews Streamed

The official Kadokawa Anime Youtube channel has updated with a new previews for Overlord III. For those who are unaware, Overlord III is the third season of the Overlord anime series. Another preview for the anime was revealed earlier in June. Overlord III will premiere on AT-X, Toyko MX, and MBS on July 10. The season will also debut on the AbemaTV streaming service on the same day. Overlord III will also debut on BS11 on July 11 and on TV Aichi on July 12.  The season will also be available on Crunchyroll with the original Japanese audio with English subtitles and the English dub will be available on…

Netflix Confirms Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle International Release

Yesterday, Netflix announced the premiere dates for several upcoming anime series and films. Among the titles announced was the confirmation for the international release of the second installment in Godzilla anime trilogy. The second film the trilogy, Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, is the direct sequel to the 2017 film, Planet of the Monsters.
