Battle Spirits Three Episode Anime Announced

The official Battle Spirits website has updated with the announcement that the franchise will be receiving a new three episode anime series. The series will be released in 2019 and will serve as a sequel to both Battle Spirits: Shōnen Gekiha Dan and Battle Spirits: Brave. The series will be directed by Masaki Watanabe, which will be produced by Bandai Namco Pictures. Atsuhiro Tomioka will be returning to work on the scripts for the project. Milla Jovovich recently announced on Instagram that filming wrapped up on the Sony Pictures’ live-action adaptation of Capcom’s Monster Hunter video game series.
