‘Mortal Kombat’ Movie’s Subzero Casted

The Hollywood Reporter has reported that actor/martial artist Joe Taslim has been cast as Subzero in the upcoming live-action Mortal Kombat film that is being produced by James Wan with the help of his production studio, Atomic Monster. Earlier it was reported that Simon McQuoid will be making his directorial debut with the project and Greg Russo will be working on screenplay. Todd Garner has also joined the project as the producer with Larry Kasanoff, E. Bennett Walsh, Michael Clear and Sean Robins working as executive producers. Netflix Original “Cuphead” Animated Series Announced

Studio MDHR, the studio behind the Cuphead video game, has announced that an animated series based on the game is in the works for Netflix simply titled, “The Cuphead Show.” The game originally released exclusively for PC and the Xbox One. The game was later ported to the Nintendo Switch eShop earlier this April. For those who are not aware Cuphead is a run and gun platformer game that features visuals inspired by cartoons in the 1930s.
