Deborah Chow to Direct Disney+ “Obi-Wan Kenobi” Series

The official Star Wars website has updated with an announcement that Deborah Chow will be directing the upcoming Disney+ exclusive series based on Obi Wan Kenobi. Hossein Amini will be working as the writer on the project. Chow will serve double duty as an executive producer with the help of Amini, Ewan McGregor, Kathleen Kennedy, Tracey Seaward, and John Swartz. Lucasfilm’s Executive Vice President of Production, Jason McGatlin, will work as the co-producer. The Wrap has reported that Ursula Corbero will be joining the cast of “Snake Eyes” as the Baroness. For those who are not aware, the Baroness is a long time villainous in the G.I. Joe franchise and served as Cobra’s intelligence officer/ lieutenant. She first debuted in first issue of G.I Joe: A Real American Hero comic series by Marvel.
