Deadline has reported that a new CG animated film reboot is currently in the works. It is said that Nickelodeon is teaming up with Point Grey Pictures’ Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and James Weaver to produce the produce the film. Jeff Rowe will be working on the screenplay for the film with Paramount Pictures working to distribute the film globally. Ramsey Naito, Nick’s EVP of Animation Production and Development, will be overseeing the project for Nickelodeon, while Josh Fargen will oversee Point Grey Pictures’ production side. Square Enix has recently opened an official website for the anime adaptation of the “The World Ends with You” video game. For those who are not aware, “The World Ends with You,” was originally released as a game for the Nintendo DS in 2007. A port of the game was later released on mobile devices titled, “The World Ends with You: Solo Remix,” in 2012 for iOS and in 2014 for Android devices. Transformers R.E.D. 6 Inch Figure Series Revealed

Earlier today, IGN reported about a new line of Transformers articulated action figures called the R.E.D. (Robot Enhanced Design) series. The new line of figures will be similar to what is seen with Hasbro’s other properties such as the Star Wars Black Series, Marvel Legends, and the Power Rangers Lightning Collection. These figures will be fully posse-able and will include several accessories, however they will not be able to transform.
