Earlier in 2019, it was reported that an animated series based on the Star Trek franchise was in the works at Nickelodeon, however no other details were confirmed about the project outside of the production team until today. Deadline has reported that the series will be titled, “Star Trek: Prodigy,” and is set to premiere on Nickelodeon in 2021.
