Emerald Fennell to Write “Zatanna” Film

Variety has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on a live-action film adaptation of Zatanna. Emerald Fenell has been hired to write the film with Warner Bro.’ DC Films and J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot Productions producing. Zatanna was created by Gardner Fox and Murphy Anderson. The character made her debut in Hawkman #4, which was released in November, 1964. In the comics, Zatanna is a stage magician, but also has actual magical powers as well. The character previously had a debut live-action appearance on Smallville, portrayed by Serinda Swan.…

Deadline has reported that Warner Bros. is currently working on production a live-action film adaptation of Hourman. The film will be produced by Warner Bros. with the help of D.C. films.
