Good evening Hero-Club, Ben here with some interesting news tonight. Currently, we have learned that Sony has casted Aaron Taylor-Johnson to play Kraven The Hunter. Also, here is what we know so far about the upcoming film starring one of Marvel’s best villains.
Deadline first reported last summer that J.C. Chandor would direct the film, which is a new entry in Sony Pictures Universe of Marvel characters
One of Sony Pictures’ universe of Marvel characters, Kraven is one of Marvel’s most iconic and notorious antiheros, who has encountered Venom and Black Panther, among many others, as well as being one of Spider-Man’s best known and most formidable enemies. The film is set to bow on Jan 13, 2023.
Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach are producing, with the screenplay written by Art Marcum & Matt Holloway and Richard Wenk.
Overall, there is not much else to really say given that plot details are unavailable at this time. Yet, I am hoping that Sony’s Spider-Man Cinematic Universe works. Venom was a huge success, so hopefully Kraven and Morbius will manage to follow in Venom’s footsteps.
