Happy Friday heroes! We have some news coming from The Hollywood Reporter. It’s been announced that Armor Wars which was set to be a Disney + series is now becoming a movie which will have a theatrical release. We don’t know the exact date when the movie will be released but we do know the reasoning behind the switch from being a show to a film.
” According to THR, during the development process for the series, it was decided that the story being told was better suited for a feature film, rather than a Disney+ series. Yassir Lester, who has been serving as head writer on the show, is now shifting over to write the feature.
I couldn’t be happier for Don Cheadle who were set to see make his first reappearance since Falcon and The Winter Soldier in Secret Invasion next spring. Overall, looking forward to seeing another black led Marvel movie. We’ve only had Black Panther where a black hero has the main role. While I enjoyed Falcon and The Winter Soldier it was a 50/50 split between Sam and Bucky. Anyway be on the look out for that when it drops. As always, I’m Ben and I’ll catch you later.
