Koei Tecmo has announced that a sequel for the Attack on Titan video game is currently in development. The game will be developed by Omega Force and is set to release worldwide in 2018. While the company has yet to reveal which system(s) the game will be released for they did provide a short announcement trailer on their official Youtube channel.
The game’s sequel is directed by Hideo Suzuki and produced by Hisashi Koinuma.
Koei Tecmo America had this statement to say about the game.
“Players will once again don the renowned Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear as they fight and repel the fearsome Titans that threaten humanity, to restore peace within the walls.” The sequel game will feature new gameplay mechanics.”
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
