Variety has reported that Ben Schwartz will be voicing Sonic the Hedgehog in the upcoming live-action film adaptation of the franchise. He will be joining the currently confirmed stars, which includes James Marsdon and Jim Carrey. Earlier this June it was reported that Jim Carrey was in talks to portray Dr. Robotnik/ Dr. Eggman in the upcoming film, however it has been since confirmed that will be playing the role. James Marsdon’s role on the other hand is still under wraps at this time.
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. The live-action film Sonic the Hedgehog film is set to premiere in theaters on November, 15, 2019.
