Penguin Spinoff Series in Early Development for HBO Max

Variety has recently reported that a spin-off series based on the “Penguin” is in early development for HBO Max. According to the reports the series will focus on the “Penguin” that will be making an appearance in the upcoming The Batman film who will be played by Collin Farrell. HBO Max “Black Canary” Film Greenlit

Variety has reported that a live-action film based on the DC Comics character Black Canary has been greenlit for HBO Max. The film will be written by Misha Green.  The film will also see the return of Sue Kroll under her production company, Kroll & Co. Entertainment.  Jurnee Smollet is set to reprise her role as Black Canary in the film, however no other cast members have been revealed.
