Brian Stapf Joins DC Universe “Stargirl” Cast as Wildcat

TV Insider has reported that Brian Stapf will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Supergirl series as Ted Grant aka Wildcat. For those who are not aware, Ted Grant was another founder member of the Justice Society of America. Wildcat first debuted in the comics in Sensation Comics #1, which was released in January 1942. The original Wildcat was created by Bill Finger & Irwin Hasen. Ted Grant previously made an appearance on Arrow played by J.R. Ramirez who was the mentor to Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy). TVline has reported that Lou Ferrigno Jr. will be playing Rex Tyler aka Hourman in the upcoming DC Universe Stargirl series. For those who are not aware, Rex Tyler was one of the founding members of the Justice Society of America. Rex Tyler made his debut appearance in Adventure Comics #48, which was released in March 1940. Deadline has reported that Marvel Studios is producing a live-action film based on the character Shang-Chi. For those who are not aware, the character is a Martial Artist of an Asian-American descent.
