Today, Mill Creek Entertainment in cooperation with Indigo Entertainment announced they have acquired the license for Tsuburaya Productions’ Ultra series library for North American distribution. Indigo, on the behalf of Tsuburaya, developed this deal to assist in bringing back the Ultra series to North America. Today, Tsuburaya Productions and Netflix announced that a second season is currently in production for the Ultraman anime. This announcement came via a presentation featuring series co-directors Kenji Kamiyama and Shinji Amaraki at that Festival International du Film d’Animation d’Annecy in France.
