Robert Schwentke in Talks to Direct ‘Snake Eyes’ Film

Variety has reported that Robert Schwentke is in early talks to direct a G.I.Joe spin-off film based on the character Snake Eyes at Paramount. For those who are not aware Snake Eyes is one of the main characters featured within the G.I.Joe franchise. Marvel Studios to Produce “Shang-Chi” Live-Action Film

Deadline has reported that Marvel Studios is producing a live-action film based on the character Shang-Chi. For those who are not aware, the character is a Martial Artist of an Asian-American descent. He was created by Steve Engleheart and Jim Starlin. The character made his debut in Special Marvel Edition #15, which was released in December, 1973. Variety has reported that Alcon Television Group will be teaming up with Adult Swim and Crunchyroll to produce/ distribute an anime series that is inspired by “Blade Runner 2049.” The series will be titled, “Blade Runner- Black Lotus,” which is stated to consist of 13 half-hour episodes.
