Ryan Reynolds Cast in Live-Action Detective Pikachu Film

Yesterday, The Hollywood Repoter reported that Ryan Reynolds is joining the cast of the live-action Detective Pikachu film.  Ryan Reynolds will be portraying the titular detective himself so expect some crazy adventures along the way. As reported earlier, the other main lead roles will be portrayed by Kathryn Newton and Justice Smith. The official Code Geass website has updated with new details about the second compilation film titled, “Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion – The Rebellion Path (Code Geass – Hangyaku no Lelouch – Hando).”   First a new visual for the film was revealed. The official Ultraman Geed The Movie: We Tie! Wishes!! (Gekijyouban Ultraman Geed: Tsunaguze! Negai!!) website has updated with new information about the upcoming film. First a film poster visual was featured that reveals that Ultraman Orb and Ultraman Zero will be making an appearance in the film. Kathryn Newton Cast in Live-Action Detective Pikachu Film

Variety has reported that Kathryn Newton is joining the cast of Legendary’s live-action Detective Pikachu film as the head female lead.  Kathryn will be co-star alongside the main lead male character, which will be portrayed by Justice Smith. As reported earlier the film will be directed by Rob Letterman and the script will be written by Nicole Perlman and Alex Hirsch.  The live-action Detective Pikachu film will be distributed by Universal Pictures outside of Japan while the film will distributed by Toho in Japan. Ultraman Geed Film Details Revealed

The official Ultraman Geed website has updated with new details about the Ultraman Geed film.  The film will be titled, “Ultraman Geed the Movie – Connect the Wishes! (Gekijōban Ultraman Geed – Tsunagu ze! Negai!!), and will premiere in Japanese theaters on March 10, 2018.  Yuika Motokariya will guest star in the film as Airu Higa, who is a tour guide that is highly knowledgeable about Okinawa culture.  In reality, Airu is a Kushian who is from the past and has appeared to support Ultraman Geed to protect earth. Deadline has reported that a Multiple Man film is in the works at 20th Century Fox. The film will star James Franco as Jamie Madrox, aka the Multiple Man.  Allan Heinberg will be the main writer for the film and Simon Kinberg will work as the head producer. The official Star Wars website has updated with announcement that a brand new Star Wars trilogy is in the works.  Director Rian Johnson will continue his directorial duties on the next upcoming projects.  Rian will return to direct the first of the films with the help of Ram Bergman who will work as the producer. The new saga of films will be separate from the episodic Skywalker saga and Johnson will introduce various new characters.
