SONY Interactive Launches Playstation Productions, Adapting Games for Film & Television

Today, Sony Interactive Entertainment launched its new production studio, Playstation Productions, which will adapt its various video games into television productions and feature length films. Asad Qizilbash has appointed to head Playstation Productions, while the chair of Worldwide Studios at SIE, Shawn Layden will oversee productions. In addition, the studio is currently developing their first slate of projects, with them setting up on the Sony Pictures lot in Culver City. Sega has updated their official Sega Genesis Mini website with the reveal of 10 more games that will be released on the international release of the mini console. The System will include 40 pre-loaded games and two Wired Control Pads. James Wan-Produced ‘Mortal Kombat’ Movie Greenlit

Sony recently held their official State of Play presentation where they revealed some details for some of their upcoming releases. During the presentation they revealed a new story trailer for the MediEvil remake. Sony recently held their official State of Play presentation where they revealed some details for some of their upcoming releases.
