1. What were you like growing up? What were some of the things you were into as a child/teenager?

I was really shy and a total nerd, always getting A’s in school and involved in an infinite number of extracurricular activities, including sports teams. Currently I am more open, more sociable haha but I am still a nerd in College. In addition, I practice Tae Kwon Do regularly

2. Who or what got you into cosplaying?

It all started when my friends put together a cosplay for me during a convention, I was the most awkward Konan (from Naruto) ever. Then as a joke, they signed me up for the costume contest, I had no idea, so I went up the stage. Now that I look back at it all sounds a bit mean, but it was also funny and we used to play pranks on each other all the time. After that experience, I decided to come back next year to the same convention, and free working for 3 months on my Angewomon Cosplay, I got best in show. It all went from there

3. First off congrats on being a guest at Louisiana Comic Con. What was it like being a Cosplay guest for a convention?

It was a lot of fun and responsibilities, to be honest. I enjoy traveling and meeting people, but I would also have to wake up early, work on costumes, prints, prepare panels and get my schedule ready. At the end of day, I really enjoyed it and I hope to keep working within the same way with conventions in the future

4. What went into building your Symmetra? I have to ask because the detail work is phenomenal.

It was definitely a lot of work haha, it all started with making all the pieces of foam and I covered them in Thibra, this was all really time-consuming, but it was all worth it in order to get the shiny finish. In addition, I spent an entire weekend just casting gems (around 250). I got inspiration from traditional Indian fashion and culture, and I talked to some of my friends from Nepal and India about all the elements present in the costume because I wanted to make sure the final sure would be something that they enjoy

5.What is it about Sombra that drew you to cosplay different skins of her?

Overwatch quickly became my favorite video game since last year, mostly because it promotes inclusion and diversity, plus every type of gameplay was incredibly fun. When they added Sombra as one of the main characters, I got really excited, because we don’t see female Hispanic characters in mainstream video games all that often, so she just became my favorite character to cosplay. In addition, I can speak Spanish as well, so it always fun to surprise people and talk to them in Spanish dressed up as Sombra

6. Off topic question, favorite food?

Sushi, sashimi, Bao bao and cheese!

7. Patreon! What can people expect from on this platform that they can’t find elsewhere?

Patreon has become really important supporting artists in general, and in my case, it has allowed me to attend more conventions, reaching more people and working on more complicated projects. They can find a lot of exclusives like building cities for every character I cosplay, which are really detailed and they include the type of fabrics I use, patterns and a detailed step by step process. In addition, I send a handwritten letter, monthly raffles, crafting sessions, exclusive videos, exclusive photos, and even hand baked cookies.

8. You’ve been cosplaying for three years now, what’s some advice you can give someone starting out?

I have actually been cosplaying for 5 years… haha my advice is to focus on your craft, make friends and have fun . Also, don’t be scared to reach out if you don’t know how to do something, we were all there at some point

9.Do you have a cosplayer or cosplayers you would like to collab with?

I don’t have a specific list, but I am always up to do collaborations with cosplayers that reach to me, and we share some great ideas

10. Can you hint at any cosplays you’re currently working on?

I can just straight up say that I am working on Dragon Symmetra and a genderbent Doomfist

11. What conventions can people find you at later this year or next year?

I will be at Oni-con, Blizzcon, AVC Anime Festival and maybe Ikkicon

12. Final question, anything you want to say to your fans?

Thank you for all the support, I will keep working super hard on cosplay and contribute to the community in any way I possibly can
