D23 2019: Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur Animated Series Announced

Marvel Entertainment recently revealed a new animated series is in the works based on Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur at D23 Expo 2019. The series will be simply titled, “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur,” and is set to premiere on the Disney Channel, although no exact air date has been confirmed at this time. The news was unveiled during the Disney Television Animation’s panel at Disney’s D23 Expo.

Executive producers on the project includes: Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland’s Cinema Gypsy Production, Marvel Animation & Family Entertainment, and Steve Loter. 

The series will focus on genius 13 year old Lunella Lafayette and her friend Devil Dinosaur. Lunella accidentally brings Devil Dinosaur into the present day with a help of a time vortex and the duo works together to fight off villains who attack New York City’s Lower East Side.

No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
