Dragon Ball Fighters 2D Fighting Game Announced

Bandai Namco has recently announced that a new Dragon Ball Z fighting game will be released worldwide early next year.  The game will be titled “, Dragon Ball Fighters,” and will go back the traditional 2.5D fighting style.  The game will be released for the Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.  Dragon Ball Fighters is being developed by Arc System Works.

Dragon Ball Fighters will feature a 3 vs 3 team battle system.  Tomoko Hiroki, the producer of the game, stated that while most of the recent Dragon Ball fighting games have been 3D fighters the latest title works best with the 2.5D style since “some things that can only be done in that style.”

More details about the game is stated to be revealed on June 12.
