Funimation Entertainment has announced that they will hosting IMAX screenings of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film. The IMAX screening of the film will only be screened on January 16. According to Funimation, the film will be the first anime film to receive an IMAX screening in North America.

The Dragon Ball Super: Broly film had a world appearance at Nippon Budokan, which was held on November 14. The film will premiere in Japanese theaters on December 14 and will also have 4DK screenings. The English dub for the film will premiere at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood on December 13. The English Dub will be released as a limited theatrical release in both North America and Canada on January 16.
