Toei has recently announced the next Super Sentai V-Cinema. In a surprising turn of events, the next V-Cinema will be an all-new 10 Years Later Special, Engine Sentai Go-Onger 10 Years Grandprix. For those who are unaware, Engine Sentai Go-Onger is the 32nd Super Sentai series, which aired on February 17, 2008 to February 8, 2009. International fans should recognize it as the Sentai season that was adapted into Power Rangers RPM.
Below is the teaser trailer for the upcoming V-Cinema, which features the Go-Ongers and Go-On Wings as they are currently; it is a basic hype reel featuring the team reuniting to stop the resurgence of the Gaiark.
Returning Cast:
- Yasuhisa Furuhara – Sosuke Esumi/ Go-On Red
- Shinwa Kataoka – Renn Kousaka/ Go-On Blue
- Rina Aizawa – Saki Rouyama/ Go-On Yellow
- Masahiro Usui – Hanto Jo/ Go-On Green
- Kenji Ebisawa – Gunpei Ishihara/ Go-On Black
- Hiroto Sutou: Hidenori Tokuyama – Hiroto Suto/ Go-On Gold
- Yumi Sugimoto – Miu Suto/ Go-On Silver
The film will feature the series’ secondary writer, Sho Aikawa, return to provide the script. Also, series director Katsuya Watanabe returns to direct this production. Engine Sentai Go-Onger 10 Years Grandprix will be released on September 26 on Blu-Ray and DVD.
