Variety has reported that eOne is set to produce various TV and film projects based on the Power Rangers brand. For those who are not aware, eOne (Entertainment One Ltd.) was acquired by Hasbro in late 2019 and were tapped to produce various productions based on their brands. eOne has enlisted Jonathan Entwistle as the head producer on the upcoming projects. Entwistle will also be working as a director with the help of eOne. Also according to Variety, Entwistle is set to produce projects that are centered around an older demographic compared to the baseline Power Rangers productions such as Power Rangers Dino Fury.

“Jonathan has an incredible creative vision for this iconic and hugely successful franchise, and is hands down the right architect to join us as we reimagine the television and film worlds of this property,” said eOne executives Nick Meyer and Michael Lombardo. “Across our slate, we are looking forward to working with the most talented storytellers as we take on Hasbro’s rich fan-favourite brands and build entertainment universes around them.”
