Deadline has reported that Paramount has recently made a deal with F. Gary Gray to direct the live-action film adaptation of the M.A.S.K. franchise. For those who are unaware, M.A.S.K. is a 80s property that was created by Kenner.  M.A.S.K stands for Mobile Armored Strike Kommand, and features a team of heroes in control of Matt Trakker as they fight against the evil organization named Venom.

As the team swiftly are looking for writers for the project, the film is stated to be  “…a contemporary subculture movie with a youth empowerment angle.”
