“Fuuto Pi” Anime Series to Stream on Crunchyroll this Summer

Crunchyroll has recently confirmed that the Fuuto Pi anime series will be streaming on their platform starting this Summer. The series will be available in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East and CIS. For those who are not aware, the series is an adaptation of the “Futo Detective” detective manga that served as a sequel to the Kamen Rider Double series. The first volume of the manga was published in Weekly Big Comic Spirits in 2017 and ran for 10 volumes. Kamen Rider Double made its debut in 2009, and is the 11th Heisei Era installment within the Kamen Rider series. Hideaki Tsukada was previously confirmed as a producer on the project. The series was first announced last April. The series will be streamed exclusively on U-NEXT in Japan starting this August and will also be airing on TOKYO MX the same month.

The theme song for the series is titled, “Tsumi to Batsu to Underground,” and will be performed by Mitsuru Matsuoka (Katsumi Daido/Kamen Rider Eternal). The intro theme for the series is titled, “Private Eye,” and will be performed by Big Gadgets alongside Aya Kamiki and TAKUYA.

Crunchyroll also provided the staff for the series as well as some new visuals.
