Lego has recently updated their official youtube trailer with the Gamescom 2020 trailer for Lego Star Wars – The Skywalker Saga. For those who are not aware, the game was first during last year’s E3 presentation. The trailer features a look at several iconic scenes throughout the Skywalker Saga. Unfortunately, the trailer also reveals that the game will no longer have a 2020 release date as it has been delayed to Spring 2021.
After seeing this trailer I am pretty hyped to see what is in store for this game. While the overall narrative will pretty much cover what was seen in the films, it is well known that Lego likes to add several bonus content such as new exclusive missions and more. I personally have played all the main Lego Star Wars titles before this one so it will pretty wild to see the original films in a new light. Due to Lego previously making game with no voice actors in mind it was up to character interactions to bring life to them in the past. With that in mind it is going to be quite an experience to see the full story especially since this will also be the first time we will see Star Wars Episode VIII: The Last Jedi and Star Wars Episode XI: The Rise of Skywalker in Lego video game form.
