Geoff Johns Exiting Role as DC Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer

This morning we’ve learned that Geoff Johns is stepping down from his role as DC Entertainment President and Chief Creative Officer. I have to say I’m sadden by this news since he was the only person who was not only helping in the film side of WB but also writing comics as well. So having to maintain that sort of balance had to be hard and a part of me is happy to see him step down but I feel like were going to miss his influence.

In some good news Jim Lee will be expanding his role to include the chief creative officer title. So I’m interested to see how he will be in this role. Jim Lee being a comic artist, I feel he’ll have an interesting perspective when it comes to being the chief creative officer. Here’s hoping these shake ups will help DC Entertainment in the long run.
