Gundam F90 FF Manga Begins in June

In the June issue of Kadokawa’s Monthly Gundam Ace magazine, a 40-page prologue chapter was published for the new manga series, Mobile Suit Gundam F90 FF (Fastest Formula). However, the series will officially begin in the August issue which releases on June 26.

Mobile Suit Gundam F90 FF is a continuation of the Mobile Suit Gundam F90 manga which ran from 1990 to 1991, and had one compiled volume. Both, Mobile Suit Gundam F90 and F90 FF, serve as a prequels to Yoshiyuki Tomino’s film, Mobile Suit Gundam F91 and its sequel manga, Mobile Suit Crossbone Gundam. Fastest Formula is set during U.C. 0112 a decade before F91 occurs, and will feature the Earth Federation testing the capabilities of the Gundam F90 with its A to Z equipment packs. The manga scenario is being written by Nobuyoshi Ino and illustrated by Kiyoshi Imanoya. Whereas, Sejoon Kim is the character designer, and Yasuhiro Moriki is the mechanical designer.

In addition, Bandai will be releasing the “F90 A to Z” projects within the Master Grade Gunpla line. The Master Grade Gundam F90 is currently available on Premium Bandai to order, as well as the additional E-Type & S-Type set. Premium Bandai also teases the next sets may consists of random pairings between the A-Type, D-Type, H-Type, M-Type, P-Type, and V-Type.
