On their Tamashii Nations website, Bandai Spirits has announced a collaboration between their Gundam Universe action figure line and Bandai Namco’s Gundam Battle Operation 2 video game.
For the upcoming third wave, all three figures will contain a code to unlock the Gundam EZ-8 in Gundam Battle Operation 2. Now, the third wave of figures includes Gundam Wing Zero Custom, Strike Gundam and Gundam EZ-8, which aligns with the collaboration. Also, these figures are scheduled for a Summer 2020 release, and the codes will be valid until June 2021.
Gundam Battle Operation 2, is a free-to-play multiplayer shooter. The game was released on the PS4 in 2018 in Japan, then later in Asia and Western Regions in 2019. This Gundam Universe campaign is the first collaboration campaign for the game.
