Over the weekend, the official My Hero Academia film website updated with a new visual for the film. The latest features a look at Melissa and Devitt, who are two new characters that will make a debut appearance in the film.
Mirai Shida will be voicing Melissa, who is a “quirkless girl,” and meets Deku on I Island. Her friend’s father, Devitt, will be voiced by Katushisa Namase. Devitt is a scientist who specializes in creating support items for heroes and was a friend of All Might when they were younger. Melissa tries her best to follow in Devitt’s footsteps.
The film is titled, “My Hero Academia the Movie: The Two Heroes (My Hero Academia THE MOVIE: Futari no Hero),” and is set to premiere in Japanese theaters on August 3.
The film’s setting takes place “overseas” on a manmade floating city known as “I Island.” The film’s story is set to focus on Forest Training Camp Arc of the anime series.
