The official Fire Force anime website has updated with the announcement that Kenichi Suzumura will be joining the anime’s cast as Takehisa Hinawa. Takehisa Hinawa is the company commander of Shinra Kusakabe’s team. Hinawa is described as a “second generation power user and a steely, serious military veteran.” Hinawa’s training methods tend to intimate the team’s rookies. Hinawa established the team with the help of Ōbi.
The official Fire Force Youtube channel also updated with a character trailer for Takehisa Hinawa.
The confirmed cast now consists of:
- Gakuto Kajiwara: Shinra Kusakabe
- Yusuke Koboyashi: Arthur Boyle
- M.A.O.: Iris
- Saeko Kamijō: Maki Oze
- Kenichi Suzumura: Takehisa Hinawa
