Nintendo has recently updated their official Youtube channel with a new trailer for Kirby and the Forgotten Land. For those who are not aware, the game will be the first full 3D platformer Kirby game and was first unveiled during the September 2021 Nintendo Direct. The latest trailer features a look at some of the co-op features as well as some of the copy abilities in the game. Similar to some previous games in the franchise, the second player will take control of Bandana Waddle Dee. The trailer also revealed the release date for the game. Kirby and the Forgotten Land will be released for the Nintendo Switch on March 25, 2022.
Ever since the game was first announced I was hyped for the release of the game. Seeing as the franchise will finally receive a full 3D platformer is really awesome especially since the first 3D platformer that was supposed to be released for the Nintendo Gamecube got canned. Luckily it lead to the development of Kirby Air Ride, which is one of my most favorite games in the franchise to this day. The overall look of Kirby and the Forgotten Land looks gorgeous and it is great to see that co-op will be returning as well.
