DC has recently released the first full trailer for the second season of Krypton. For those who are not aware the series features Seg-El, who is the grandfather of Kal El aka Superman. The series takes place two generations before the destruction of Krypton. The first season of the series premiered on the SyFy Network on March 21, 2018 and consisted of 10 episodes. The first season of the series is also currently available on Hulu and was later added to the DC Universe library earlier this year. The second season of Krypton will premiere on SyFy Network on June 12.
Zod! Brainiac! Doomsday! Lobo! Seg-El’s enemies are closing in, and the future of his home planet of Krypton has been stolen. Join the fight to take it back when Krypton returns to SYFY on June 12.
Personally I felt that the first season had a lot of rough edges, however it did turn out decent by the end of the first season. I do personally hope that the characters will have some more developed backstories especially since outside of Seg-El, Zodd, Adam Strange there didn’t seem to be developed enough in my opinion. Because of this it was a bit hard to follow for me, however looking at this trailer it does seem the that series will pick up. Lobo seems to be pretty interesting so far, although I will need to see more of him to know if they did him justice in this series.
