Deadline has reported that Leonardo Nam will be joining the cast of the DC Universe Swamp Thing series. Nam will be portraying Harlan Edwards, who will be a recurring role in the series.

Written by Mark Verheiden and Gary Dauberman, Swamp Thing follows Abby Arcane (Reed) as she investigates what seems to be a deadly swamp-born virus in a small town in Louisiana but soon discovers that the swamp holds mystical and terrifying secrets. When unexplainable and chilling horrors emerge from the murky marsh, no one is safe. Nam will play Harlan Edwards, a gay CDC specialist who is Abby’s (Reed) second-in-command.
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates.
Swamp Thing will debut on DC Universe in 2019.
