Happy Wednesday heroes, we have some casting news coming out of Warner Bros. DC Films has found their Batgirl in the form of Leslie Grace. Yes, the In The Heights star is set to suit up and play Barbara Gordon. Right now we don’t have much in terms of what the plot of this upcoming Batgirl film will be covering. I would love to see Batgirl of Burnside be adapted if we’re going for recent story arcs.
Outside of that, a huge congratulations to Leslie Grace. I’m hoping she is prepared for the hate but also the love she will receive as more people will learn of her being cast as Barbara Gordon. I’m praying she’s able to stick around and run into the Birds of Prey cast in the future if the Batgirl film does well.
