Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always Trailer

Late last night, Netflix decided to finally release the trailer for the Power Rangers 30th anniversary special. As we previously reported, the upcoming special titled, “Once & Always,” is a reunion dedicated to the Mighty Morphin seasons. Additionally, as we have learned the special will focus on all three seasons, mixing the various Rangers actors together. Although, not every possible actor is returning for the special due to rejecting offers, contractual obligations, and/ or controversies. However, we would like to remind everyone that this special was being produced before Jason David Frank’s untimely passing. So, Mr. Frank may have refused to appear, but the special will still pay tribute to him and Thuy Trang.

Whereas, returning to the special and trailer, this really feels like a primer for fans going into it. Specifically, since the trailer presents the audience with a fairly good synopsis of what is to come. For example, the trailer features a look at Robo Rita and her Robo Monsters, as referenced in previous press material. In addition, the audience will even learn about how the special will incorporate Thuy Trang’s passing regarding Trini’s involvement. Furthermore, the trailer helps to establish and introduce Trini’s most likely successor, her daughter Minh. Anyway, without further ado, we hope fans check out and enjoy the trailer the below:

Now, this upcoming special is directed by Charlie Haskell, with Becca Barnes and Alwyn Dale as its writers. In addition, original series composer Ron Wasserman is surprisingly making his return to score the special. Furthermore, as heard in the trailer, Barbara Goodson returns to voice Rita Repulsa, while Richard Steven Horvitz is Alpha-5 again. Whereas, to reiterate, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once & Always is set to release on April 19th, exclusively on Netflix.
