Ming-Na Wen Joins Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian” Cast

IGN has reported that Ming-Na Wen is joining the cast of Jon Favreau’s “The Mandalorian.” The news was first unveiled at D23 earlier today. Currently it is unknown what character she will play, however it is awesome to see her join a Star Wars production. This isn’t the first time the actress has been apart of a Disney production as she previously voiced Mulan in the 1998 Mulan film and also portrays Agent Melinda May in Marvel’s Agents of Shield. 

The confirmed cast members so far include:

  • Carl Weathers: Greef Carga
  • Taika Waititi: IG-11
  • Omid Abtahi: Dr. Pershing
  • Giancarlo Esposito: TBA

The Mandalorian will be apart of the day one titles on Disney+, which will launch on November 12, 2019.
