The Hollywood Reporter has reported that a sequel to Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge is in the works. For those who are not familiar with the first film, “Mortal Kombat Legends: Scorpion’s Revenge,” is an animated film adaptation of the Mortal Kombat game franchise that was released in 2020. The sequel will be titled, “Mortal Kombat Legends: Battle of the Realms,” and is set to release this Summer.

Ethan Spaulding will be returning as the director of the project along with Jeremy Adams as the screenwriter. Rick Morales and Jim Krieg will be returning as the producers. Sam Register will return as the executive producer. Ed Boom and John Tobias will also return as the creative consultants.
