NECA has recently updated their website with official images for their upcoming Spyro the Dragon figure. Similar to the previously released Crash Bandicoot figure, another well beloved Playstation icon will be joining NECA’s line of action figures.
For those who are not aware, the figure is based on the title character of the Spyro game franchise, which made it’s debut on the original Playstation in 1998. The game series features a variety of sequels and was also a key character in the Skylanders game franchise. The original game trilogy will be receiving a remake for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One titled under the name “Spyro Reignited Trilogy,” which will be released on November 13.
The figure will feature a high level of articulation and will measure roughly 8 inches in length when his tail is fully straightened. The figure is set for release in Q2 2019.
