Studio MDHR, the studio behind the Cuphead video game, has announced that an animated series based on the game is in the works for Netflix simply titled, “The Cuphead Show.” The game originally released exclusively for PC and the Xbox One. The game was later ported to the Nintendo Switch eShop earlier this April. For those who are not aware Cuphead is a run and gun platformer game that features visuals inspired by cartoons in the 1930s. No other details are confirmed about the project at this time so stay tuned for updates.

Ever since Cuphead was revealed I personally felt that an animated series based on the game would work really well. Seeing as the game was already inspired by cartoons in the 1930s it would be pretty easy to adapt into a series in my opinion. I will be keeping a close on this project as it develops.
