The Pokémon Company has announced that Pokémon the Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back Evolution will stream on Netflix worldwide (outside of Japan and Korea) starting on February 27. For those who are not aware, the film is a remake of Pokémon: The First Movie: Mewtwo Strikes Back or simply Pokémon: The First Movie as it is known internationally. The film is also the 22nd overall film in the Pokémon franchise. The film had its worldwide premiere at Anime Expo 2019 on July 4 and the film debuted in Japanese theaters on July 12.
The Pokémon Company also released an English trailer for the film.
