New to Netflix US: September 2018 Promo Confirms Bleach Live-Action Film

Today, Netflix U.S. uploaded to its YouTube Channel, New to Netflix September 2018 promo, featuring next month’s new releases. The promo hosts an incredible line-up of original series, original films, and other titles the service acquired for streaming. Among the titles revealed is Warner Bros’ live-action adaptation of Tite Kubo’s manga, Bleach, which releases on September 14.

 

Other titles available for streaming include:

  • Marvel Studios’ Black Panther (Sept 4)
  • Once Upon a Time Season 7 (Sept 6)
  • Marvel’s Iron Fist Season 2 (Sept 7)
  • The Dragon Prince (Sept 14)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs The World (Sept 16)
  • Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time (Sept 25)

Now, the live-action Bleach film released in Japan on July 20, and ranked fourth in its opening weekend. In addition, the film sold 99,000 for a total of 135 million yen (nearly $1.21 million USD). Furthermore, the film had two North American screenings at the Japan Cuts Festival in New York. The plot adapts the manga’s first arc, the Substitute Shinigami, which spans from the first to eighth volume. The live-action Bleach film was directed by Shinsuke Satō (live-action Gantz, Gantz II: Perfect Answer & Death Note: Light Up the New World) with [ALEXANDROS] performing the theme song, “Mosquito Bite,” as well as “MILK.” The film stars Kamen Rider Fourze’s Sōta Fukushi (Gentaro Kisaragi), Ryō Yoshizawa (Ryusei Sakuta / Kamen Rider Meteor), and Erina Mano (Nadeshiko Misaki).
