The Hollywood Reporter has recently reported about the new cast members of the upcoming animated DC League of Super-Pets film. This news is especially exciting since it is filled with several well known voice actors/ actresses and it has also been a while since new details about the project was confirmed. The confirmed new cast members includes: Kevin Hart, Kate McKinnon, John Krasinski, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, Diego Luna and Keanu Reeves. Currently it is unknown who the new cast members will be voicing outside of Kevin Hart, who will be voicing Ace-the Bat Hound.
Krypto was first introduced in Adventure Comics No. 210, which was released in March 1955. In the comics, there was an evolution event that lead to the evolution of several animals that lived on Krypton. Krypto was Kal’El’s childhood pet while he was living on Krypton. Krypto was eventually sent as a test pilot and ended up crashing on Earth, where he was reunited with his master, Superboy. Due to the Earth’s yellow sun and lower gravity, Kryto also gaining the same powers as Superboy, although relative to his species’ features.
No other details are confirmed at this time so stay tuned for updates. DC League of Super-Pets will be released on May 20, 2022.
