The official One Piece anime website has updated with the announcement that the One Piece Stampede film will premiere in theaters in Japan on August 9, 2019. The film is the 14th overall film in the franchise and it will celebrate the 20th anniversary of One Piece. The latest trailer features a quick peak into the setting of the film and showcases several of the main characters.
The official website also provided an official visual for the film.
The previous film titled, “One Piece Film Gold.” premiered in theaters in Japan in July 2016. Funimation screened the English dub of the film in January 2017 and was later released on home video in May 2017.
