New Sonic the Hedgehog Project to be Launched in 2017

Sonic the Hedgehog just recently celebrated his 25th birthday on June 23rd, and already he is off to begin a new journey apparently. At the end of a “Sonic the Hedgehog 25th Anniversary party” held in Tokyo on Saturday, Sonic’s creator Takashi Iizuka announced that plans for a new Sonic project is underway for 2017. More details will be revealed by SEGA at a second Anniversary party that will be held July 22nd in San Diego at the House of Blues during San Deigo Comic Con. Twitch.tv will be streaming this event live on their website for those unable to attend.
