This week Premium Bandai updated its website with several new products releasing in September 2018; among these items is S.H.Figuarts Antlar from episode 7 of the original Ultraman series. Antlar is a desert based kaiju that terrorized a thriving ancient civilization called the City of Baraji. When SSSP appeared and encountered Antlar the residents welcomed them, and even assisted SSSP in defeating the monster. Since then Antlar has appeared in various other Ultra series, as well as made special appearances in other series. Now as for this figure, it recreates Antlar’s debut in the series. In addition, features a burrowing effect piece for the kaiju to recreate its various attacks on Ultraman! Below is the official gallery from Premium Bandai:
Pre-orders for S.H.Figuarts Antlar are open as of today, April 20th at 4:00 pm JST. The figure will be sold for 7560 yen, and set to be released this September. Those interested in pre-ordering this item should contact their preferred middleman, or online retailer for more information.
