Official Images: S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Aegis/ Ultraman Zero Armor Option Set

In the past few months, Tamashii Nations teased that a S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Aegis/ Ultraman Zero Armor was to be released. However, at that time there was no clarification on how the item would distributed! It lead fans to speculate it would be sold alongside a re-issue of the unreleased S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero like its previous incarnations as part of the Ultra-Act series. Then as of today, Tamashii Nations surprised fans by revealing S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Aegis/ Ultraman Zero Armor is an “Option Set.” Yet, there is an unfortunate thing about this awesome news, as it is confirmed the set is a Premium Bandai release.

Now, while S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Aegis/ Ultraman Zero Armor serves an option set for the upcoming S.H.Figuarts Ultraman Zero, it can also be used with the previously released S.H.Figuarts Ultraman X & Gomora Armor Set. The set will contain parts for it to be transferred from Zero to X. In addition, the set will feature the ability to form the Final Ultimate Zero Mode, a powerful bow and the Ultimate Aegis’ signature attack used by Ultraman Zero. Pre-orders for S.H.Figuarts Ultimate Aegis/ Ultraman Zero Armor Option Set are scheduled to open tomorrow, February 8th at 4:00 pm JST. This optional set will be sold by Premium Bandai for 3240 yen, and the item will release in July 2019. For fans interested in purchasing this item, they will either need to consult a middleman service or locate an online distributor like our sponsor, CS Toys International.

Ultraman Zero made his debut in the 2009 film, Mega Monster Battle: Ultra Galaxy Legends The Movie. However, Ultraman Zero acquired the Ultimate Aegis from Ultraman Noa in the 2019 film, Ultraman Zero: The Revenge of Belial. Zero continues to use the Ultimate Aegis to defend the universe from evil. Zero has recently used the Ultimate Aegis briefly in Ultraman Geed the series, but used it in notably in Ultraman X, where it was duplicated by the Xio Lab Team for Ultraman X to assist Zero. For those interested in watching various Ultra series in North America, people can either choose to subscribe to Crunchyroll or TokuHD’s streaming services. However, most of Ultraman Zero’s adventures consist of several movies that are currently unavailable on either service
