Tamashii Nations has updated their S.H.MonsterArts listings for an all-new Premium Bandai exclusive figure. This figure is based on the blood coagulant frozen Godzilla from the 2016 blockbuster, Shin Godzilla! Properly titled S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2016) Fourth Form Frozen Ver. this figure captures the final scene of the film, where Godzilla is frozen during its next phase in evolution. The figure will be cast with three-dimensional scanning to insure the emergence of the Fifth Form from the tail is met properly. The figure is also being modeled and designed by Takayuki Takeya, who created the actual tail prop seen in the film. Below is the official gallery from Premium Bandai:
Pre-orders for S.H.MonsterArts Godzilla (2016) Fourth Form Frozen Ver. open on Friday, February 16th at 4:00 pm JST. It is will be sold for 14,040 yen with its intended release set for July 2018. Directed by Hideaki Anno and Shinji Higuchi, Shin Godzilla released in Japan on July 29, 2016. The film was distributed to North America via Funimation Entertainment, receiving limited screenings throughout October 2016 before its home video release in August 2017.
