Official Images: S.H.Figuarts Bemlar -the Animation-

Premium Bandai has listed the order page for their future release of S.H.Figuarts Bemlar -the Animation- from the Ultraman anime. This version of the character is based on the Netflix original series which adapts Eiichi Shimizu and Tomohiro Shimoguchi manga; the series is a direct sequel to Tsuburaya Productions’ original Ultraman series. For those unaware, in this manga/ anime series, Hayata’s son Shinjiro becomes Ultraman, but does so by wearing a suit of Iron Man-like armor. Yet, like the original tokusatsu series, Shinjiro also encounters a Bemlar just like his father did. However, this new Bemlar is not a kaiju, but an alien that wears a similar armor to Shinjiro’s. In addition, the character was previously released by Tamashii Nations as Ultra-Act x S.H.Figuarts during the early years of the manga’s run. Furthermore, the original release was also a Premium Bandai exclusive.

Now, S.H.Figuarts Bemlar -the Animation- is an unique design when compared to other characters or armors within the manga/ anime. The character is very slender and has peg-like legs to stand on. Thankfully, to help balance the figure it will include a special pedestal/ display stage set. In addition, the figure will feature two ‘Ray Effect’ blast hands, and the ‘Energy Bullet’ effect hand, as well as three pairs of regular optional hands.
