Currently, Tamashii Nations 2022 is occurring in Japan, and they are unveiling several new items throughout their various product lines. As expected, several of the items are scheduled to be Premium Bandai exclusives, and others are to be determined. However, there are retail releases being announced with some confirmed to be going up for pre-order in the near future. Now, among these upcoming retail releases to go on pre-order are the first two S.H.Figuarts for Kamen Rider Geats. Whereas, for those unaware, Kamen Rider Geats is the current airing series within the greater known Kamen Rider franchise.
Anyway, as for the first SHFs to be confirmed for the series, they are both based on the titular character. The first figure, S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Geats Magnum Boost, is specifically based on the character’s main form. Yet, this form can only be obtained in show when using the Magnum and Boost Raise Buckles. Whereas, the second figure announced, S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Geats Entry Raise Form, is the basic form all Riders begin with. Essentially, the only thing required to assume this form is the Desire Driver and the ID Core in the show. However, as for the S.H.Figuarts, these and other Kamen Rider Geats related figures will be able to swap parts. So, fans will be able to recreate the forms as seen in the series once other characters get releases. Sadly, we believe this will only be for the male Riders unless newer parts are made for the female Riders. Also, Tamashii Nations is promoting the alternative Raise Buckles form like the Boost Magnum as complete other figures. Unfortunately, that means S.H.Figuarts Kamen Rider Geats Boost Magnum might be a future Premium Bandai release. Now, as mentioned earlier these upcoming S.H.Figuarts are retail releases, with their release scheduled for February 2023. Currently, Kamen Rider Geats Magnum Boost is priced at 4,400 yen, while the Entry Raise Form is surprisingly 5,500 yen. So, somehow having less details and more hands makes the second figure more expensive! Anyway, pre-orders for these items are intended to open at online retailers on Monday, November 21 at 4:00 p.m. JST. However, since they are retail releases, North American fans should expect distribution for these figures to be announced soon.
