Today, IGN also got an exclusive look at new products being released by Hasbro in 2019, as well as be featured at the upcoming New York Toy Fair. The figures IGN got unveil are the previously leaked Transformers Studio Series Voyager Class Optimus Prime based on his appearance from Bumblebee, as well as the rumored “car mode” Dropkick. Furthermore, IGN chose to not disclose the entire official press release, and disregarded the products’ proper descriptions. However, IGN did include the information regarding release, price, and amount of transformation steps for these figures.
SS-39 Voyager Class Bumblebee Movie Optimus Prime will release in April for $29.99, it will stand at 6.5 inches tall and its transformation will consist of 35 steps. Whereas, SS-46 Deluxe Class Dropkick will release in August for $19.99, it transforms from a movie accurate robot mode to muscle car within 36 steps. Also, Dropkick’s alternate form in the attack helicopter seen in Bumblebee (SS-22 Deluxe Class Dropkick) is already available for purchase at most retailers.
